Not ALL Obama's fault

OK,
here's one you oughta bookmark, cause I prolly won't ever say it again.
We are in a world of shit! It aint ALL Obama's fault. It aint all Bush's fault. It aint all slick Willie's fault.
It is ALL OF OUR FAULT!
We as Americans love to sit back and watch the world go by. When things are good, we are pleased and happy and satisfied. When things turn to crap we like to point a finger.
Willie could go on tv and give a speech and make ya think everything was good, even his blow jobs.
Poor old George could get on tv and you'd know there was something stinky. After all, he declared that the war was over 6 years or so ago.
Poor old Barrack can get on tv and you automatically know he's full of shit.
Face it folks. We, as voting, laid back, apathetic Americans have voted for what has been offered to us for MANY YEARS!
It is time for us to take a stand. We kicked out the Brits for much less bullshit than what we are putting up with now!
Me, myself, I am a poor working Redneck! I don't know all the answers. But I do know and realize that we have GOT to take control of the Government back. Remove it from the hands of the Govt itself and put it back into the hands of the working majority, not in the hands of Oil, Pharmacuticals, Unions, or even the NRA or AARP. WE NEED TO CONTROL OUR OWN DESTINIES!
Furthermore, we need to try to keep our children, grandchildren and even more future generations from having to put up with Government Tyranny and exhorbitant taxes!
HOW?
Vote these SOB's out! This is the "DEMOCRATIC" way!
Shoot em all. This is the Anarchistic way! (BTW, this aint my first choice)
Sit back, wring your hands and eat cat food! This seems to be the AMERICAN WAY!
What would have Davy Crockett, Daniel Boone, George Washington or for that matter, John Wayne have said?
I think you all know what they would have said.
What do YOU say?
Lemmee hear, you WON'T hurt my feelings.

  1. Finally something that I can mostly agree with!

You did fail to mention that the government (especially the last bunch) in conjunction with our media tries to keep Americans in fear. Fearful people do not ask questions nor think for themselves. They do as they or told or remain apathetic assuming all decisions (even those that take away rights... ex. patriot act) are all for the greater good.

  2. You are absolutely RIGHT!
The media does it's best and generally does a good job of making us think the way it wants us to think. Which is the VERY reason I don't watch the tv news nor do I read the paper except for entertainment!
If you want the facts, check out the internet. It is our last bastion of factual information. You've STILL got to sort out the big woods from the brush there, but it's ALL WE HAVE RIGHT NOW!
Please, please, please don't ever take what you see on tv or read in the paper as Gospel, cause they're only out to sell commercial time, advertising or to promote their own agenda.
    Great point Casey!
BTW, homeland security and the patriot act have both outlived their useful functionality and should be abolished!

  3. I agree... clean house- all of them. Do away with a two party system. Make it so anyone, regardless of wealth, can run for an office. I do have a couple of criteria - the person seeking office must be smart (not necessarily a genius), compassionate and have some idea of what's going on in our own country(for people of all socioeconomic walks of life) and in the world.

Won't happen - ever. Best step that can be made for change is campaign finance reform and cracking down on campaign contributions by special interest. W/o all of the added bonuses and perks from special interests, many politicians (the bad ones, regardless of party), would probably find that it's not worth their efforts to be in office. I don't think a lot of folks in office selected that job to help the country- they selected it to gain wealth and secure a cushy job as a CEO of something when they leave office. They know the salary stinks, but it is supplemented by great toys and vacations and bonuses provided by special interest if the politician sells his/ her soul to them. Problem is, campaign finance reform won't ever be passed because of these same people who don't want to lose their perks. If we, as constituents, make that a pressing issue to our elected officials, regardless of party, then maybe they'll take it seriously. That's one thing I liked about McCain - he actually tried to start this discussion.

Society- life- makes it hard for the masses of constituents to protest to demand change. We all have very limited time off of work (if any, for some folks)to take the time to go to even our own state capitals to demand change. But, pop, as you called it, the majority of this country is eating cat food and letting the world go by, so he/ she has no desire to even participate in the process. It's a shame, really. And shame on us for not allowing EVERY American to have a voice and for not trying to find ways to engagge the apathetic masses.
I can say YOU are trying to do your part in engaging folks by taking the time to write your blogs. And I thank ya for it!

  5. How about this?

    Abolish the federal gubment.

Form a new federal gubment which is only allowed to print money and defend the shores.

Abolish all direct taxes to the federal gubment. The militry would be funded by the states.

Return all other functions to the individual state and local gubments.

All politicians are term limited. No such thang as a "career politician".

  6. What Tommy said!

The problem is that most Americans are uninformed, don't want to be informed, don't make any efforts to be in formed, but will still go vote for 'somebody'.

    Heaven help us.
